Once you're on the circuit, just enjoy the race and the action on the track! To help you focus on the sporting experience, here are some tips to make your day at the Red Bull Ring more enjoyable.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink in reasonable quantities to the Red Bull Ring. However, dangerous forms of packaging, especially glass, are prohibited. The organisers do not tolerate cooking of any kind. So, leave portable grills at home or the campsite ;-)
There are plenty of refreshment stalls in the stands and fan zones offering the traditional range of fast food. Beer, water and soft drinks are usually available for purchase.
Keep in mind that during Sundays in particular, the mobile network on the circuit is usually overloaded. Do not rely on any online tools. If you need to view anything on your mobile phone, save the page or document in advance for offline use.
If you're going to the race with friends, it's a good idea to arrange a meeting point and time in case you get lost and can't make a phone call due to network congestion.
Motorsport is very noisy. The noise level is tolerable in the normal grandstands. However, if you have the opportunity to go closer to the track, we recommend wearing earplugs. Consider ear protection if you are sensitive to noise.
If you're going to the race with children, always provide them with hearing protection!
Before you head to the circuit, check the weather forecast, as weather can be very erratic in the mountains, with afternoon thunderstorms or showers common in the summer. We recommend always having a raincoat or spare clothes in a waterproof pack.
And on the contrary - don't forget the sunscreen, the mountain sun can burn very quickly.
